We are a very active community at Crafers Primary School! There’s always something in the works to get our students moving.
Our youngest learners develop a long-standing, positive attitude towards exercise through engaging lessons that are dedicated to fundamental movement skills and learning through play.
Our older students continue to develop social, personal and physical capabilities through movement challenges, team building and organised sports. Upper primary students have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a range of different school, district and state sport carnivals throughout the year.
SAPSASA Sport
SAPSASA is a primary school initiative tailored to challenge and develop students in Years 5 and 6. Students can participate in a range of sports from the mainstream netball, football and soccer to the more unusual including mountain bike riding and cross country running. Competitions vary from individual endeavour to team participation and can take the form of knock out and carnival. SAPSASA has always been very popular at Crafers. Under the guidance of our PE teacher and using the skills and good will of the community, our students make worthy competitors!
Pedal Prix
We are all very proud of our 20 years of participation in Pedal Prix. Having three competition cars and a motto of ‘We race as One’ Pedal Prix has been the source of teamwork, courage and excitement. As a parent run endeavour, it is an example of the generosity of our Crafers community and our commitment to offering our students diversity in opportunity. Crafers has enjoyed a successful history and is well regarded as a high-spirited competitor.
